Total empathy for Bradley when he says "No one could have anticipated what has unfolded since the inauguration of President Trump or the profound lack of empathy toward fellow Americans." It's very American, indeed patriotic, to feel this way--to believe, somehow, the best is yet to come. But honestly, Trump and Elon were hinting at all of the crap they are now pulling well before election day. They are delivering on their promise to drive the whole nation into the ground.
Imagine that, a politician, actually living up to his promises. Too bad we are the ones who pay the price.
I think the sticker would suffice as a social shield but I guess some have money to burn and are proud to do so and brag about it. This is great for the used Tesla market, opening it up to those previously priced out.
And clearly Elon is not "DOGEing" for his personal benefit--has cost him tens of billions with more to come, yet he persists. Gotta' admire such principled dedication to the greater good.
Wow. You sound bitter. The first guy Phoebe wrote about was having a real crisis of conscience about it. You did see the photo of him with his sister with Down Syndrome and read about his involvement with Special Olympics and Musk's repeated use of the 'r' word, right? Yeah, I won't use it either as my nephew, a young man I adore, also has Down Syndrome, and has been raised to believe that it is a very bad word. Musk is an asshole, and I applaud that man for taking the hit and feeling good about himself again.
Great article we are out of the country on vaca but watching in horror at Trump/ musk behavior good thing we bought a car last year in anticipation of all this.

I remember when corporate boards would fire nutballs like Musk.
I sold my Tesla 3 too. It’s like wearing a MAGA hat.

Not sure I'd agree re: money to burn and bragging. But I do appreciate your reading and sharing your thoughts.

Thank you for sharing sensitive detail about your life, Heather. A toast to amazing aunts and the nieces and nephews who have them. xoxo
