In the thrall of “what will this election bring” but the Fords are top of my list for “Xmas” shopping! (For me, I’m more of a hybrid seeker, my DM trips and “fueling” at the farm make a bit of worry about EV only)
Thanks for this. I have been impressed with Ford’s performance in this sector. The world has to catch up though. I have a big old welder as my generator and, as I age, I yearn to have fewer pieces of equipment to maintain. And sure agree about the noise.
Dear Mike, Thank you for the note. I like that the F-150 generator is not something that needs to be hauled -- it's always with you. We have a generator at home, and it's ridiculously loud I've been through storms in Iowa and California that knocked out water and/or power for days. I never had a generator and it was miserable.
These are awesome for someone who wants to tour with a camper and not have to haul a generator along too.

What a great article about what is (at least right now) an innovative use of your hybrid EV.
Thank you for reading, Jim. Ford is the only automaker building hybrid trucks. Everyone else is focused on ICE or EVs.
