Enlightening story of nothing to do with politics, thieves, gamers, drugs or thugs. Thank you. Those Beagle rescue people are real good human beings who have earned a place in heaven. Thank you Ms Howard for another important , wholesome story about people who do good things…with no strings attached.
Love this story! Have been filling my free time since retirement by volunteering at a local animal shelter - highly recommend this, but it does come with some risk: you want to take all the poochies and kitties home.
Wow. Talk about hitting home. My wife and I have had 3 beagles over our married life which will be 49 years in September… Harvest, Marley & Rosie. The absolute most kind, loving and loyal companions you could ever ask for. We still miss all three of those wonderful beagle girls. What these people are doing to save these beagles is truly heart warming.
I'm the current president of a no-kill rescue shelter in central Iowa. This story warmed my heart. There are so many good people and organizations who care for lost and abandoned dogs/cats. Thank you Phoebe for highlighting the work these compassionate and dedicated folks do. They are doing good work for animals as well as the people who eventually adopt these beautiful pups.
Wow, this is an amazing story about love and compassion (and cars.) I would never have known about such an effort to save beautiful and loving dogs. Thank you, Phoebe.

What a great story! I was seriously looking into adopting a rescued beagle until my rescue came along. Next one!
Thank you for adopting. xoxo
I loved my Beagle, Izzy, now passed away. Kudos to those rescuing beagles and transporting them to new homes! 🐶
RIP Izzy. xo

I love beagles. I know they like to run and always wondered why so many end up in shelters.
I hope this story provided some answers.
