Another heartwarming story about a pretty grounded, energetic, enterprising, creator who loves not only his guitar making success, but the world he chooses to live in. Sounds like his parents provided the platform upon which he built his life of satisfaction without leaning on anyone for help. He makes it happen, and thanks to you, we now know “the rest (and best) of the story.

Stay safe

Always a great human interest story from Phoebe. The Detroit Free Press should pick her best stories and publish them.

As a retired family doctor, I love woodworking, cars, sailing and human interest articles. You are able to move around a lot of topics I enjoy. I appreciate his attention to detail to 1/1000th of an inch. I’m lucky to hit 1/16th. I’m not a writer, but attended an early Iowa writers workshop at Lakeside Labs at Lake Okoboji in northwest Iowa. I would encourage non-writers and wannabes to attend this writing festival at Lake Okoboji. It gave me an appreciation of the speed, attention to background research and creativity that writers possess to document interesting stories that enrich my knowledge base.

This story captured my interest as a guitar instructor for beginners the past 20 years. I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise of trees chosen for certain guitar sounds, depth and body along with finger picking!! I loved their creative touch geared toward each customers liking.

I’m excited to share this with my guitar friends and students. Congratulations on their fruitful business 🙏❤️🎉
