In my work life, I was a capitalist who also participated in socialism, the latter being accepting government payments for treating the poor.
I have observed that unregulated capitalism is its own worst enemy, and that the robber barons of days gone by are dwarfed by the oligarchs of the present day. Unfortunately, when the economy comes crashing down, all will suffer.
